9. Manage Personal User Account
9.1. Manage Spam Quarantine
To access your Spam Quarantine Messages, navigate to the Email Protection Quarantine Tab.
You can also access your quarantine mail by clicking on a link in your Spam Quarantine Report
(SQR).
By default, messages remain in Quarantine for seven calendar days. Some customers have
expanded quarantine duration of fourteen-days. To determine your organizations quarantine
duration, click the Date drop list on your Spam Quarantine Page. The number of previous days
identifies your organizations quarantine duration.
If no action is taken on the Quarantined message, they are automatically deleted from Quarantine
after the customers quarantine duration is met. Once a message is deleted from Quarantine, it is
not retrievable.
9.1.1. Viewing Spam Quarantine
Once you select the date for which you would like to see Spam Quarantine messages, you can
double click on a message to view it in Safe Message View. This allows the ability to view the
contents of a quarantined message in a “safe” location and then determine the action to take on the
message.
Any part of the message that originated as plain text is viewable in Safe Message View. HTML
content is not viewable.
