Subject line: Displays “Spam Quarantine Report for kt1@kt1.com, indicating the owner of the

original SQR.

To field: Displays who the SQR is for. In this example, it’s for [email protected]m.

The X-Original-To: and Delivered-To: The fields display the email address of the recipient who

received the redirected SQR. In this example [email protected]m received kt1’ SQR.

6.6. Content Filtering

Content Groups

The Content filtering option allows the Administrator to configure how the system will react if it

receives an email message that contains text that violates the Content policies.

When filtering for content, the service will look at the following portions of an email message:

 Subject

 Email Body

 Message header EXCEPT any information preceded by the “To” or “From” fields

o i.e. Cannot put an email address or domain name in the content filter

The administrator can assign an action for each predefined Content Group. They can also define

custom Content Groups.

McAfee provides five pre-defined Groups:

 Credit Card Number

 Social Security Number

 Profanity

 Racially Insensitive

 Sexual Overtones

These predefined groups are not activated by default but can be enabled by selecting the group,

clicking Update and checking the enable checkbox.

The words listed in the predefined content groups cannot be edited or deleted. See the Custom

Content Group section to learn how to add additional keywords.

Credit Card Numbers:

 The Credit Card content group recognizes 15 numbers used by United States American

Express, and 16 numbers used by Discover, Master Card and Visa.

 Credit Card and Social Security numbers can use the following formats

o 111-11-1111, 111 11 1111, or 111111111

Social Security numbers:

Social Security Numbers are associated with nine numbers

 123-45-6789, 123 45 6789 or 123456789

You cannot mix Social Security or Credit card number formats, such as 111-111111 or 123 45-

6789.
