8. Define a Web Protection Policy

Define new policies and name them appropriately based on the schedule to which they will be

applied. Some commonly defined policies:

Workday Policy

Lunchtime policy

After hours policy

There is no limit to the number of policies you can create.

As a Customer administrator, you can create new Customer Level or Group Level policy. If creating

a Group Level policy, you must also select the Group that will own the policy. Selecting the Group

allows the Administrators of the Group to manage the policy. See Create Groups section of this

document to assign a Group Administrator.

If a group has not previously been created, a Group level policy cannot be created.

When creating a new Policy, you must choose another policy from which to copy. When copying

from an existing policy, the policy actions are copied, however manually entered lists are not copied

over by default. You can choose to copy all entries on the following lists. This is beneficial if you

utilize, for example, the Trusted Site list on the default policy and you want the same entries to apply

to your new policy. This eliminates the need to manage the same information on many policies.




