Some software may conflict with VirusScan’s buffer overflow protection. In that case, disable buffer

overflow protection. First, uncheck show the messages dialog box when a buffer overflow is detected.

Then uncheck enable buffer overflow protection.

Unwanted Programs Policy

Open VirusScan Console. Right click on Unwanted Programs Policy and click Properties. On the

Detection tab, all categories should be checked in the UH pre-configured settings. Clear any unwanted

program categories that you don’t want to detect. Click OK.

Quarantine Manager

Quarantine Manager is a new feature in VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i. To access Quarantine Manager, open

VirusScan Console. Right click on Quarantine Manager Policy task and click Properties.
